PrimeScript One Step RT-PCR Kit

This one-step RT-PCR kit allows efficient, specific cDNA synthesis and amplification in a single tube for endpoint analysis (e.g., by gel electrophoresis). Workflow is efficient because there is no need to add additional reagents prior to PCR. The PrimeScript One Step RT-PCR Kit includes PrimeScript RTase, an MMLV reverse transcriptase that allows robust reverse transcription of almost any RNA template, including GC-rich or highly structured RNA. For cDNA amplification, this one-step RT-PCR kit also includes TaKaRa Ex Taq Hot Start (HS), a polymerase that allows robust, specific amplification and is formulated for hot-start PCR. Sample handling time and risk of contamination are minimal with the PrimeScript One Step RT-PCR Kit. The PrimeScript One Step RT-PCR Kit (Dye Plus) also includes electrophoresis loading dyes (blue and yellow) in the premix to further reduce sample handling steps and allow visual confirmation of gel loading.


Fast and Accurate Quantification

This one-step RT-PCR kit is powered by PrimeScript RTase, which has exceptionally strong strand displacement activity. PrimeScript RTase is robust and versatile and well-suited for applications requiring full-length cDNA synthesis. The PrimeScript RTase enzyme is a modified, recombinant MMLV reverse transcriptase and is RNase H Minus. First introduced in Japan, PrimeScript RTase is now available to scientists worldwide. Over 3,700 peer-reviewed articles have been published in which PrimeScript Reverse Transcriptase is used for a variety of applications such as gene expression, gene discovery, transcriptome analysis, miRNA expression and regulation, molecular evolution, virology, and microbiology.
